Mastering data isn’t enough in analytics.
You need to understanding your audience's narrative to turn insights into impact. Data-driven decisions without a narrative misses opportunities for growth.
I know. Too obvious many next moves inherent in the data went nowhere because I failed to offer context from the immediate perspective of the brand team.
This is the scary thing about relying to heavily on AI for insights. However, when AI meets human intuition, you unlock creativity in marketing that technology alone can't achieve.
Here's the gameplan we try to implement at Provalytics:
- Transform data into stories that connects the dots that AI misses ... Human insight adds texture
- Use your biggest fans and embrace advocates to fine-tune your messaging ... don't just use an algorithm
- Anticipate the unknown ... let AI track known trends, but use our HI intuition to read the room
I like tying this to the X example of using AI to rebuild their ad platform. It's a powerhouse of insights, but without understanding the audience's emotional cues, we end up with insights but no impact.
If we lean solely on AI, we risk losing genuine engagement with our clients and properly identifying how they do the same with their customers. No doubt, it's a blend technology with creativity.
How are you weaving narrative into data today? It is a never-ending learning curve to drive engagement that resonates at a deeper level.
Cheers
Todd
