Cookie Policy
This policy explains what The Expert Index (theexpertindex.ai), operated by Provalytics LLC, stores in your browser.
What we use
- Your light or dark mode choice. If you use the theme button, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name
ei-theme, so the next page opens the same way. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data. - Security. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell real visitors from automated abuse. It isn't used to track you.
- Analytics. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, sets cookies named
_gaand_ga_…(kept up to 2 years) to count visits and see which pages are read. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland they're only set if you accept; anyone can change their choice with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved in your browser asei-analytics-consent.
What we don't use
No advertising, social media or cross-site tracking cookies, and no advertising pixels. Google's ad features are turned off.
Fonts
The site's fonts load from Google Fonts. Google doesn't set cookies for this, but it does receive your IP address. See our Privacy Policy.
Changes
If we add other cookies, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
