Agency-led creativity is losing to AI ad factories

In short Brands that depend on agency-led creative are losing ground to competitors that use AI to produce ads at far greater speed and volume.

Brands that rely on agency-led creativity are being outpaced by AI-driven ad factories flooding the market with 1,200 unique ads daily.

When I saw this, it was clear that traditional creative processes are becoming obsolete. The speed and volume of AI-generated content are reshaping the advertising landscape, leaving those who cling to old methods in the dust.

I once worked with a retail brand that relied heavily on agency-led campaigns. They were slow to adapt, and their market share dwindled as competitors embraced automated ad production. The shift to automated targeting tools allowed those competitors to engage customers more effectively, leaving the traditionalists behind.

The assumption that creativity alone can sustain brand relevance is a costly mistake. The retail brand that resisted automation found its market share eroded by faster-moving competitors.
